Crumpler Famous Wine Bar Bag

The name is a misnomer. The Crumpler Famous Wine Bar Bag can indeed by used to comfortably carry three wine bottles in the main compartment, and the padding is extensive enough that the bottles are unlikely to break. But this bag is indented more as a day pack or airline carry-on (it fits perfectly under an airplane front seat). The main compartment is nearly square shaped inside, making the Wine Bar Bag ideal for carrying textbooks and folders.

Like all Crumpler bags, the Famous Wine Bar is exceptionally durable. (We’ve been abusing a Crumpler pack for nearly 10 years now and it is still going strong). The Wine Bar is also very comfortable, both to wear on your back or to carry messenger-style over one shoulder. Though the side pockets are adequate for holding small knickknacks like a pair of glasses or a magazine they aren’t spacious enough for large items. The result of this design is that there are few straps, clips or bulges protruding out from the Wine Bar Bag, which we like. But if you are looking for a more pocket-full daypack consider the excellent Deuter Giga Office Daypack instead.
