With that in mind here’s what you won’t get at the Clift Hotel: oversized rooms, city views, a spa or anything more than a token gym.

What you will get: a trendy hotel, an active social scene and richly accented accommodations that are an elevator ride from the Redwood Room, SF’s coolest hotel bar.
